U.S. Marine Reserve Band to Perform Patriotic
Concert June 10
HARRISBURG -- The
Pennsylvania House and Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness
Committees, in cooperation with the PA Department of the Marine Corps League-PW
Milano Detachment, are co-hosting a patriotic concert featuring the United
States Marine Forces Reserve Band, according to Senator Don White, Chairman of
the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency preparedness Committee.
The free concert is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. on June
10 in the Forum Building Auditorium near the State Capitol on Walnut Street in
Harrisburg.
“This will be a festive evening as we honor our men
and women in uniform,” said Senator White. “There is something truly special
about hearing a military band perform a repertoire of patriotic music.”
